Privacy Policy
Effective 2 August 2026
CurveTime is a free browser game. This policy explains what data the game handles and what happens to it. The short version: we store the minimum needed to run accounts and leaderboards, we do not sell data, and we do not run ads or third-party tracking.
What we collect
- If you create an account: your email address, your chosen username, your gameplay statistics (matches, wins, points, XP, coins, streaks and quest progress) and the cosmetics you own or equip.
- If you play as a guest: nothing is stored on our servers. Your guest name and preferences (such as the sound setting) are kept only in your own browser's local storage.
- If you play through Discord: we receive your Discord display name to show in the game while you play. We do not store it.
- Chat: messages are relayed live to other players and are not stored on our servers.
What we use it for
Running the game: signing you in, showing usernames, tracking progression, powering leaderboards and the in-game store. Nothing else. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers, and the game contains no analytics or tracking scripts.
Where it lives
Account data is stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider). The game server runs on Railway. Both act as processors for the data described above.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. Deleting your account (in the game: Privacy → Delete my account) immediately and permanently removes your email, profile, statistics, coins and cosmetics. There are no backups of deleted accounts held by us beyond our providers' short-term operational backups.
Your choices
- Play as a guest and store nothing with us at all.
- Delete your account at any time from inside the game.
- Ask us questions through the community Discord linked from the game.
Children
CurveTime accounts are intended for players aged 13 and over. If you are younger, play as a guest.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date above and note it in the game.
